Project Details

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study for SR 297 (Pine Forest Road) from south of SR 8 (I-10) to north of SR 10 (US 90A/Nine Mile Road) and CR 297 (Pine Forest Road) from SR 10 (US 90A/Nine Mile Road) to north of CR 297A in Escambia County, a distance of approximately 1.5 miles. The purpose of this project is to increase capacity and address safety issues on the SR 297 and CR 297 (Pine Forest Road) corridors. This project will also address operational deficiencies, congestion, and delays at applicable intersections along the corridors.
