Project Details

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) begins a new project to reconstruct State Road 265 (Magnolia Drive) from Apalachee Parkway (S.R. 20 / US 27) to 7th Avenue and the intersection of Apalachee Parkway and Magnolia Drive in Leon County on January 13, 2019.

ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS:

• Milling and resurfacing

• ADA sidewalk improvements

• Pedestrian signalization upgrades

• Drainage and guardrail upgrades

• Sewer improvements

INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS:

• Milling and resurfacing

• Widening

• Drainage improvements

• Curb and gutter

• Sidewalk and guardrail upgrades

• Improved lighting and signage

• Access to frontage road will be aected

during and after construction

Traffic Impacts

• No lane closures will be allowed between

6 a.m. and 8 p.m.

• No lane closures will be allowed on

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

• No lane closures will be allowed during

holidays

• Access to residences and businesses will be

maintained at all times

• Watch for construction workers entering

and exiting the roadway
