Project Details

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PDE) Study to determine multi-use trail concepts, environmental evaluations to access impacts associated with a new multi-use trail, and extensive public involvement and agency coordination along S.R. 30 (U.S. 98) in Franklin County, Florida.

The intent of this study is to evaluate the potential need for a trail to provide connectivity between the coastal and forest trail system to the north in Wakulla County and to the west in Franklin and Gulf Counties. The purpose of the project is to support a wide range of non-motorized modes of transportation for all users and at all skill levels and ages as part of the Capital City to Sea Trail (CC2ST) system in Franklin County.
