Project Details

Resurfacing a 2.8-mile section of SR 61 (Wakulla Springs Road) in Leon County. The project includes reconstruction of the intersection at CR 2204 (Oak Ridge Road) to a single-lane roundabout.

The roundabout includes drainage improvements, sidewalks, curb and gutter, landscaping and lighting.

The project also includes road resurfacing, guardrail replacement and minor drainage improvements from the Wakulla County line to south of SR 369 (US 319).

Traffic Impacts

Two lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction. Lane closures will be restricted during construction to minimize impacts to the traveling public. During roundabout construction, the flashing signal will be replaced with four-way stop signs. Access to driveways and business entrances will be maintained.
