Project Details

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will begin work in March 2022 to mill and resurface a 3.1-mile segment of U.S. 29 (Pensacola Boulevard) from Brent Lane (State Road 296) to north of the I-10 in Escambia County.Additional work will include curb ramp, and sidewalk improvements, new signage and pavement markings, and enhanced signalization.

Traffic Impacts

RECENT UPDATES: Drivers may encounter alternating lane closures Sunday through Thursdays from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m for paving operations. Contractor is grading at sidewalks, placing handrails and utility work.
