CR158 Over Lloyd Creek Bridge

Project Details

Construction to remove and replace the bridges over Lloyd Creek Branch and Lloyd Creek on County Road (C.R.) 158 (Old Lloyd Creek Road) in Jefferson County began November 2017. The construction contract includes replacement of the existing bridges, reconstruction of bridge approaches, guardrail upgrades, signage and pavement markings. Construction is anticipated to be complete Spring 2019. A temporary detour will be in place for the removal and replacement of the bridge over Lloyd Creek Branch and a temporary bridge will be constructed for the removal and replacement of the bridge over Lloyd Creek. Construction activities are weather dependent. Motorists are reminded to pay attention and use caution when driving through the work zone. During construction the speed limit will be reduced to 30 MPH in the work zone.

Traffic Impacts

A temporary detour using Lloyd Creek Road, Barington Road and State Road 59 (Gamble Road) will be in place for the removal and replacement of the bridge over Lloyd Creek Branch. A temporary bridge will be constructed for the removal and replacement of the bridge over Lloyd Creek.
