SR 289 (9th Avenue) Resurfacing

Project Details

The intent of this project is to resurface existing travel lanes, auxiliary lanes, median crossovers, and paved shoulders. Additional improvements include constructing six-foot wide sidewalk on the west side of SR 289 to provide sidewalk where none exists, replacing guardrail at the bridge where necessary, improving pedestrian features to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, and upgrading traffic signals at the following SR 289 intersections:

Dunmire Street

Beau Terra Lane

County Road (C.R.) 290 (Olive Road)

No additional right-of-way is required. Bids for construction are scheduled to occur spring 2024.
