Project Details
The new construction of SR 87A will primarily consist of a new alignment from east of CR 191 (Munson Highway) to west of SR 87 North. The SR 87A Connector is proposed to ultimately be a 4-lane, divided highway; however, it is the intent of this project to build an interim, 2-lane facility. The proposed construction will include the realignment of CR 191 (Munson Highway) at the intersection of SR 87A and a new connection from SR 87N to SR 89.
This project will also include paved shoulders, buffered bicycle lanes, a new bridge over Clear Creek, a new signal at CR 191 (Munson Highway), a new signal at SR 87N, stormwater ponds, signs, and pavement markings.
The proposed construction will include acquiring right-of-way for the ultimate 4-lane build out, including stormwater ponds.
Final Design, Right of Way, nor Construction are currently funded.
