Project Details
The purpose of this study was to provide a new east-west connection between SR 12 and SR 267, east of Quincy, to intercept and re-route heavy truck traffic, currently entering the town square of Quincy, around the east side of town to US 90 and beyond, and improve traffic operations within the town previously degraded to accommodate heavy trucks turning radii. Another goal was to improve “walkability” within the downtown area and reduce emergency response time to Northern Gadsden County.

Alternative Four Alignment: Recommended alignment from Corridor Study
WEST:
Quincy Loop from CR 65 to SR 267
Alternative Four Alignment: Recommended alignment from Corridor Study along CR 270A
