This multi-lane reconstruction project primarily consists of widening SR 390 (St. Andrews Boulevard) from CR 2312 (Baldwin Road) to Jenks Avenue. The typical section will consist of six (6) 12-foot travel lanes separated by a 22-foot median with curb and gutter, 4-foot bicycle lanes and curb and gutter on the outside. Six-foot sidewalk will be constructed along both sides of the roadway adjacent to the curb and gutter.
There is one (1) signalized intersection within the project limits at the intersection of SR 390 and Jenks Avenue. The signal is currently supported by strain poles. New signal supports will be constructed and traffic loops on SR 390 and Jenks Avenue will be replaced as impacted by the widening.
ADA improvements will be included in this project. Sidewalk will be constructed along both sides of SR 390, along with bicycle lanes. Pedestrian signals will be included at the signalized intersection with Jenks Avenue.
Construction activities are weather dependent and might be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to use caution and to watch for heavy equipment and construction workers entering and exiting the roadway.
