US 98 (SR 30A) Panama City Beach Pkwy from Mandy Lane to Hathaway Bridge

Project Details

The intent of this project is to widen approximately 8.5 miles of U.S. 98 (Panama City Beach Parkway) from Mandy Lane to the Hathaway Bridge from 4 to 6 lanes with bike lanes and sidewalks on both sides of the roadway.

Additional improvements include:

• Adding traffic signals at Mandy Lane, Gulf Boulevard, and North Glades Trail

• Adding an eastbound left-turn lane into Pier Park

• Adding additional southbound left-turn lane on Alf Coleman Road

• Adding eastbound lane to the flyover toward the Hathaway Bridge

• Reevaluating previously identified noise wall locations for feasibility

Right-of-way acquisition is funded; however, construction is not funded in the FDOT Five-Year Work Program.
